Switzerland-Italy Trip

Dear Parents and wrestlers

The meeting for Wednesday night at the taproom for the Italy-Switzerland trip has been changed.

We will have an online meeting at 8p.m. on Thursday night - July 1. In order to sign up for the meeting

you will need to visit the Haddonfield Wrestling Club website and register.  If you can not make the online meeting and

are interested just shoot me an email.

2011 Switzerland-Italy Trip - Wrestling Meeting

The June 30th meeting for the trip has been canceled.

If you are interested in going on this trip and learning more about it please

information and power point presentation via email.

We need to have a firm confirmation on who is seriously interested in going by July 4th.

Wrestle in Italy and Switzerland 2011

In the Summer of 2011 the Haddonfield Wrestling club is going to wrestle in Switzerland and Italy. We will compete against club teams from both countries. We would like to offer this opportunity to the entire South Jersey Wrestling community. This is open for wrestlers and parents and we encourage parents to come. It is a 9 day trip and we will tour these sights.

 

Geneva, Switzerland: Geneva is Switzerland's most international city. It is where the European seat of the United Nations is based and where the Red Cross directs its humanitarian operations. This city offers many outstanding attractions including The Old Town, Lake Geneva, Reformation Wall, St. Peter's Cathedral, Russian Church, Place Neuve and much more.

 

Martigny, Swizterland: This charming Swiss town, surrounded by vineyard and orchards, is famous for its gastronomy which is celebrated at many outstanding restaurants. Martingy's history dates back two thousand years. Celtic tribes, the Romans and Napoleon's troupes have left behind traces. A restored amphitheatre, Roman thermal baths, temples and living quarters can be admired today.

 

Chamonix and Mont Blac: Spend the day in the Swiss Alp on a day trip to Champnix, one of Switzerland most famous villages. You'll drive through the mountains, and take in views of magnificent Mont Blanc, the highest peak in the Alps and Western Europe (15,770 ft)

 

Milan, Italy: the Duomo (a spectacular cathedral), Lascala, Public Gardens, Santa Maria della Gratzie, a gothic church which is home to the famous painting "The Last Supper" by Leoonardo Davinci, the Castello Sforzesco (an old castle with many exquisite art collections including the work of Michelangelo), and the Galleria Mall.

This is open to 5th - 12th graders as well as College Wrestlers

Must Have USA Card - $15 a month

UVA Wrestling Camp

The Haddonfield wrestling team leaves for the University of Virginia wrestling camp on

July 5th - The team is going to go to Kings Dominion, the Vietnam Memorial Wall, and a Washington Nationals

Baseball game as well.

K-4th grade Summer Sunday Wrestling Clinics

SUMMER MICRO-DUDES CAMP

The Haddonfield Wrestling Club is proud to announce it is running a club for K-4^th graders on Sundays during the summer.  We will focus on the basics of wrestling and having fun.

SUMMER MEMBER FEE – $75 and must have a USA wrestling card.

All wrestlers must show USA wrestling card at first practice.  www.usawmembership.com  

NO WRESTLER WILL BE ABLE TO  PARTICIPATE WITHOUT USAW CARD.
