Virginia Duals Sponsor Needed!
We need a sponsor for our H.S. team for the Virginia Duals.
The sponsor gets a banner with their name or company name hung up in the arena
where the High School and College wrestling teams compete. The sponsor also gets
into all events and the special social that weekend.
Cost $600 or we can try to secure two sponsors at $300 a piece.

State intermediate weight class wrestling champion 2010 Danny Boychuck, 13, had a spectacular summer wrestling season, winning the Northeast Kids Greco Roman Championship and the Northeast Kids Regional Freestyle Championship in May, qualifying him for the USA National Wrestling Dual state team in Indianapolis in June. He went on to win second place in July at the ASICS Kids Greco-Roman and Freestyle National Championships in Orem, Utah, qualifying him for the USA National team. Later this month, he enters the 2010-2011 season by competing at the Super32 tournament in Greensboro, N.C., where he was named runner-up in his class last year. South Jersey.com

a safe and great school year for 2010-11. Many of you have worked hard this summer to
become improved wrestlers and I know you will carry that same attitude into the classrooms
this year. Remember as you enter the classroom and conduct yourself that you have the traits of a wrestler.
A wrestler works hard and is disciplined. A wrestler respects others and never quits. Stay diligent in your

contact with their wrestlers during the season and the summer. This is why during the
fall and spring you do not see any high school coaches working with their teams.
In some states coaches can hold workouts all year long but not here in New Jersey.

4. South Plainfield - 7 Returning Starters, 2 Region Champs, 1 State Place
5. Paulsboro - 8 Returning Starters, 3 State Qualifiers. The defending Group 1 Champions return a strong core of upperclassmen, a proud wrestling tradition, and an in your face no nonsense coach.
6. Southern Regional - 9 Returning Starters, 1 Region Champ, 1 State Place Jackson
7. Haddonfield - 10 Returning Starters, 2 State Qualifiers. The Bulldogs are no longer flying under the radar. They return 10 starters and endured one of the toughest offseason workouts I've ever seen. Coach DiPol and his staff have this team heading in one direction only, and that's up. Look out Paulsboro in Group 1 South.
8. Hunterdon Central - 7 Returning Starters, 1 Region Champ, 1 State Champion. The loss of 5 state qualifiers is going to hurt this team, and could very well keep them out of the Top 10 by the end of the season, but the long history and tradition paired with Alex Shaffer's leadership will help the Red Devils to a successful season.
9. Timber Creek - 10 Returning Starters, 1 Region Champ, 2 State Qualifiers, 1 State Place South Plainfield in the Group 3 Semi-Finals. Look for the Chargers to go from being a bad dream for SP to a total nightmare this year.
10. Bergen Catholic - 9 Returning Starters + 2 Transfers, 3 Region Champs, 4 State Qualifiers, 1 State Place Winner. With the transfers of Matt Dickman and James Dawson to Bergen Catholic, and the addition of incoming freshmen Sebastian and Casamenti, the Crusaders explode into the Top 10. The downside to this team is their entire season will be filled with competition as they compete against Don Bosco, St. Peter's Prep, Delbarton and the rest of North Non-Public A. If they can navigate through that competition, they could very well avenge every loss from last year except for Blair and Wyoming Seminary.

Haddonfield High School Wrestling Absegami at Drexel University
The Haddonfield High School Wrestling team will take on the 10th Ranked team in the State of New Jersey the
Absegami Braves on Friday, February 4th, 2011 before the Drexel - Boston University Match.
Drexel is where Coach Heverly wrestled at and Boston University is where Vice Principal Chuck Klaus wrestled.
If Drexel wins Mr. Klaus will have 50 push-ups to do in front of the main entrance of the school- If Boston wins Coach Heverly has 50 push-ups to do in front of the Dinosaur Statue in down town Haddonfield.
The event is free for all Haddonfield fans - Coach Childs of Drexel just asks that you purchase some Drexel wrestling gear at the match to help his team out.
This is a great announcement for the Haddonfield School District and wrestling community. As you know our school already has a partnership with Drexel in academics -

* DiPol has a career record of 197-65.
He has coached 31 District Champions, 7 Region Champions, 10 State Place Winners, 3 State Finalists, and 1 State Champion. He also coached a Beast of the East Champion in 2006.
